Green Bay’s 2018 State of the City reported that Imperial Supplies was moving 300 jobs to the Feld Building downtown.
That is a concrete kind of downtown investment: a workplace that brings people into the city center every day. A downtown should be useful through the week, not only when there is an event on the calendar.
One company move does not tell the whole story of a city. It does show why downtown work matters: a healthy center needs room for businesses, workers, residents, and visitors.
