Green Bay’s story cannot be reduced to one project. The Green Bay Record brings together thousands of accomplishment entries with local reporting, city documents, and public sources. It covers downtown and waterfront work, neighborhood associations, student transit, Bay Beach, jobs, public safety, public health, the arts, budgets, and the everyday work of keeping city systems running.
Near the end of Jim Schmitt’s tenure, local coverage described a transformed downtown and reported on Hotel Northland, Bay Beach, the Zippin Pippin, Shipyard work, and other projects. City State of the City and budget documents provide the operational detail: the services, investments, partnerships, and tradeoffs behind the visible work.
