Why I Renewed My CPR Training

What does renewing emergency-response training look like in practice? For me, it meant returning to CPR and choking-response skills rather than assuming I would remember them when needed.

I work at the New Community Shelter, which has 116 residents. That responsibility is one reason I went back for recertification. The other is simpler: these are skills worth keeping current as a community member, not just as part of a job.
